The Placement Cell of the institute has been operational with providing counselling to the students for their career development and arranging campus placement drives with prestigious industries to provide best opportunities to students.

Rules & Responsibilities:

All TPO related work at institute level and assigned by DTE (ie Placement fair etc.)

To schedule Co-curricular activities -- Seminars, workshops, trainings etc. and do MOUs

Arrange FDPs, Seminars, workshops, conferences for faculty also.

PLACEMENT POLICY

Departmental T & P co-ordinator /department training and placement member has to prepare list of final year students.

List of final year student will be indicative to consent in placement, higher study and none of both.

Training and placement cell keep contact with recruiters directly or indirectly,invites them for placement.

Eligible student list is provided to company HR department fulfilling specific company criteria.

Departmental T & P co-ordinator has to inform students regarding placement by social media i.e whatsapp group , department notice board or on common platform of institute general notice board .

Students got updates regarding training and placement by T & P cell .

Students given consent in placement are considered in placement.

Prior to interview ,students are informed about company, rules and regulations,salary, working hours,place of work etc.

T & P cell members ,as per instruction of TPO will proceed during campus interview.

GUIDELINE TO STUDENTS FOR INTERVIEW

Students should be well groomed with formal dress.

Boys: Shirt, trouser (Jeans not allowed), leather shoes.

Girls: Either Punjabi dress or Shirt and trouser (Jeans not allowed)

Student should keep following documents ready with him/her.

Latest resume

All original certificates and one attested copy of each of them

Two passport size photographs

Adhar card

Envelopes and stationary

Report 30 minutes before the start of placement activity.

Documents verification by Departmental coordinator.

Maintain discipline during campus placement.

Students will be allowed to appear in placement drive as per eligibility of company criteria.

Check the notice board regularly in your respective department and placement website for any information regarding the T & P.

Check regularly email, whatsapp group and SMS for any update regarding T & P.
